The increasing demand for efficient surface cleaning techniques in multiple industries has spurred considerable investigation into laser ablation. This research directly compares the effectiveness of pulsed laser ablation for the elimination of both paint coatings and rust corrosion from steel substrates. We noted that while both materials are susc
